Deaths Over Drafts

Join Death Over Drafts in the taproom for great beer and light conversation about our mortality!

Welcome to Death over Drafts-Connecticut! This is a community gathering to spark curiosity & connection around death & dying. Come meet Connecticut Death Collective members!

Death over Drafts started with a brewing vision to bring people together and create meaningful connections by combining two passions—craft beer and conversations on end of life.

Every Death over Drafts gathering has a different vibe based on who is co-crafting aka hosting. While these gatherings provide an opportunity for those who serve in the end-of-life field to gather and reflect personally and professionally when you join us at a Death over Drafts gathering one thing is constant: all are welcome.

A Death over Drafts gathering will include 30 minutes of mingling, 60 minutes of playing The Death Deck followed by 30 minutes of additional mingling and conversation.

All are welcome. This is a free event. Find more information here.

Pub Trivia Murder Mystery: The Case of the Killer Ending

Pub Trivia Murder Mystery: The Case of the Killer Ending

Quirk Events is back with a NEW Pub Trivia Murder Mystery!

When a famed fantasy writer drops dead, there's only one person who can solve the case: You. And you're going to do it by playing trivia.

It was supposed to be a party celebrating a famed fantasy writer at the season finale of the show based on his life's work. Instead, it was the series finale of his life.

In this game, a followup to our first hit trivia murder mystery (the case of the poisoned patron), we're enlisting your help to solve this mystery the only way we know how: Through a game of pub trivia. Each round, your group will answer trivia questions, which will, in turn, unlock details of the murder, uncover backstories and ultimately answer the greatest question of them all: Whodunnit?

So form a team with your sleuthiest friends and see if you can solve The Case of The Killer Ending!

Please note: This is not a theatrical production featuring actors or audience roles or some of the other staples of a murder mystery production, rather this is a trivia game with a murder mystery puzzle interwoven.

Register your team here.
